Attended by the Secretary General of the World Zakat and Waqf Forum (WZWF), the International Workshop on Waqf Management was successfully held.

Waqf is one of the Muamalah activities that has spiritual, social, and economic dimensions. Traditionally, waqf has only been interpreted as a grant in the form of real estate such as land and buildings, whose purpose is limited to the construction of places of worship and educational institutions.
Management occupies the most important place in the world of Waqf because it can determine whether waqf assets are useful and developed depending on the management model.
Opening remarks were given by Prof. Dr. H.E. Mujahidin, M.Si, as Rector of UIKA Bogor, and Prof. Dr. KH. Didin Hafidhuddin, M.S., as Director of the UIKA Bogor Postgraduate School.

The guest of honour from Malaysia, Datuk Dr. Mohd Ghazali Md. Noor as General Secretary of the World Zakat and Waqf Forum (WZWF) with the team was also present and helped open the activity.
This is also a place for friendship between Prof. Dr. KH. Didin Hafidhuddin, M.S as the first Secretary General of the World Zakat and Waqf Forum and the current Secretary General of the World Zakat and Waqf Forum.
Prof. Dr. KH Didin Hafidhuddin, M.S., Prof. Dr. H.E. Mujahidin, M.Si., and Datuk Dr. Mohd Ghazali, Md. Noor, concurred in stating the urgency of zakat and waqf in the development of the country as well as the benefits for the community, bringing independence and the economic pillars of the ummah.
H. Hendri Tanjung, Ph.D., in his presentation conveyed several important parts of the WCP, namely legal foundations, waqf supervision, good waqf governance, risk management, and sharia governance, each of which was explained in detail.
